Welcome to Mega Man III DX!! This was originally intended to be a short comic named Mega Man Revolution, just touching each Classic Mega Man game, but you can see how THAT turned out…
I picked Mega Man III for a few reasons: first and foremost, it was (in my opinion) the pinnacle of Classic Mega Man in every aspect. Also, it was a great entry point since it also included “rematches” with the robot masters from Mega Man II (Mega Man I would just be a flashback).
This is not the original first comic. The first three panels were used as a teaser way back when, and I was too stupid to make a better intro comic (I wasn’t about to do that “This is a new comic! It starts tomorrow!” like everyone else does!). Maybe someday I’ll replace the first few comics, but until then, you have this horror… It gets better, trust me!
